Hanan Motawie is an Egyptian actress born in Cairo in 1979. The daughter of acclaimed actors Soheir El Morshidi and the late Karam Motawie, she graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. She began her career in 2001 with the TV series "Hadith Al-Sabah wal-Masaa".
