Tania decides to take her horse Fantas to meet her friends in her working-class neighborhood. By sharing her passion, she seeks to bring together two parts of herself, two worlds that have never crossed paths before. Their unexpected encounter unfolds into an urban tale with surreal overtones, as Tania freely asserts her place and identity.

Trained at Montreal’s National Institute of Image and Sound, where she received an Excellence Scholarship, Halima Elkhatabi is a Canadian screenwriter and director of Moroccan origin. She has made several award-winning documentaries and fiction shorts, including "Nina", selected for TIFF’s Canada’s Top Ten, and "Head Against the Wall", which received a Special Jury Mention at the Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois. She also co-directed "St-Henri, the 26th of August" and co-wrote "Dounia, The Great White North". In 2024, she directed "Fantas" and the feature documentary "Living Together".
