Laura García Alonso graduated from ESCAC. She gained recognition with her short films “Alex” and “Summer Storm”, which were selected at prestigious festivals including San Sebastián, Valladolid and Málaga. Her work explores human relationships and mental health with remarkable sensitivity. “Runner” is her debut feature film, which premiered in the Official Competition of the Málaga Film Festival, where it received the ASECAN Award for Best First Feature.
